6 lessons from letting someone else edit my closet
Tried on everything I own. Kept some, questioned a lot.
For my birthday, my best friend gave me the kind of gift only a saint-slash-wardrobe-therapist would think to offer: an entire day of closet editing. Not just a quick “yes or no” on a few hangers, but Cristina going item by item, making me try on everything, reorganizing the chaos, and somehow transforming my wardrobe into something that feels like a boutique.
G casually asked if I hadn’t just done a big clean-out recently, and, well… yes. I do this often. I’m naturally disorganized and terrible at letting go - whether it’s something sentimental, expensive, relatively new, or doesn’t fit now but might again someday. You get it. So if any of that sounds familiar, or if you need a bit of structure, I took thorough notes while shimmying in and out of every pair of jeans I own.
