I shared some of my takeaways after getting my colors analyzed in last week’s newsletter, which was both revelatory and slightly disheartening. I learned that strong autumn shades flatter me most, which sounds fine, unless you’ve spent a decade+ building an identity around blush pinks and bright whites. Needless to say, the overall experience led me to a better understanding of how my style has evolved and laid the groundwork for a new approach to what I purchase, how to balance shades and tones, while not eliminating my love of those signature pastels.
I still wear the “wrong” shades, I just balance them differently now. Here are the tweaks, outfits, and makeup I’ve been reaching for, plus a few ideas to help you decode your palette, no spiral required.
