What I Loved in London, Madrid, and Barcelona
Where I stayed, the best places we ate, and my shopping highlights
After almost two weeks in London, Madrid, and Barcelona, I came home with a full camera roll, a heavier suitcase (but unlike G and Sloan’s, at least it got returned to me during the trip!), and way too many things I couldn’t wait to share. So I split it up.
This first part covers the good stuff we did. The meals I’m still thinking about, the shops I didn’t want to leave, and the places I recommended to all my friends.
Next, I'll post the outfits I wore on repeat, what I brought home, and how I’ll approach packing differently, moving forward. I’ll also share what I left behind but still think about, and how this trip completely reset what I want to wear for the rest of summer.
This was our second time in London, and while nothing will compare to our trip over Thanksgiving break in 2022 (pure magic during the holidays!), it's a pretty perfect place year-round. Our time was divided into two- and three-day segments at the beginning and end of our vacation, respectively, which was awkward but fine. My biggest takeaway is that London is just easy and fun with kids (must-dos include: Tower of London, Natural History Museum, afternoon tea, a musical, and Novelty Automation).
