Welcome to Fwd: from a friend
A weekly newsletter from an accidental influencer, sharing current musings, hyper-fixations, and finds I typically text my friends.

Procrastination has always come naturally to me, but we're talking about *years* I've put off starting a newsletter, which might be a new milestone. It's been a while since I've enjoyed the internet - at least, how I used to. When I started cupcakes and cashmere (sixteen years ago?!), things were simple. Lately, however, there's been a shift in social media, which has made it seem further from reality than ever, making me feel disconnected and adrift. It lost that feeling as though you'd stumbled across a little spot online that was made just for you. I miss writing and having real conversations about the little things that actually are the big things...and not being at the mercy of an ever-changing algorithm. I'm excited to return to my roots and embrace this community with renewed energy and enthusiasm.
I hope my newsletters feel like something fun, forwarded from a friend. xx
